About the project

What it is

Creallies is a mobile game about creatures hidden in the real world. Players scan QR codes, then choose to fight or capture each creature and add it to their team.

What I worked on

My contribution

I established a clear project hierarchy at the start of the project, which helped the team understand the project, integrate content and work in parallel. I also implemented the save system for player data and the game's complete UI, including navigation between its different menu scenes.

Key features

Main systems

  • A QR scanning and creature capture flow using the mobile camera.
  • A battle system built around captured Allies.
  • Player-data saving for progression across sessions.
  • Complete UI integration, including navigation between menu scenes.
  • A shared project structure designed for a team of eight.
Challenges

What was difficult

Coordinating development and content integration for a mobile game required shared conventions. Setting naming and folder conventions early made daily integration easier.

Conclusion

What I learned

This project taught me how shared conventions and a clear project structure support collaboration over several months.
